Responsible Development Awards

Every month, Mountain Living celebrates the joys of living or traveling to the high country of the Rocky Mountain West. In order to preserve this joy for future generations, Mountain Living would like to recognize the importance of responsible development in mountain areas.

Mountain Living annually award top achievers in responsible, sustainable development in categories of Community Development and Tourism. Awards will be based on specified criteria pertaining to protection of natural assets, inclusion of historic architecture, cultural heritage, wildlife preservation and natural beauty.

Award winners will be featured in Mountain Living's October 2008 issue. All entries will also be reviewed for editorial leads and possible inclusion in future Mountain Living issues.
